Bill Gian. is an established and internationally renowned artist. His creations have been shown at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Museum of American Folk Art, the Denver Art Museum and galleries in Zurich, Caracas, New York, Los Angeles and Denver. Gian.'s work has been featured in numerous publications including People, Ornament, Landscape Architecture, Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, and Colorado Expressions Magazine. Bill Gian.’s work includes ambitious, energetic abstract paintings on wood and paper. His sculpting talent is reflected in his painted steel constructions and his site-specific public art pieces and playgrounds. Among these unique constructions are the steel cut buffaloes that roam the Sixteenth Street Mall in downtown Denver, the steel figures, “petros”, along the Cherry Creek path and “Squiggles”, the 350' long concrete seasaurus playground at the Arvada Center for the Arts. Bill Gian. has a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Metropolitan State College, Denver.
